I’m disgusted that Danny Hurley has UCONN in the final four in 5 years since taking the job.
But he has had losing seasons

The first steps are the hardest against elite programs targeting the same recruits /transfers, but I agree.

Look at Pitino's accomplishments, that man is the definition of "elite coach", I'm not even worried about "if he can", because he will get key recruits.
Everyone knows he will.
Once he fills the roster up with his guys, I gua-ran-blanking-tee you, all REDMEN fans will be smiling like in our glory.

Better add this part as well, don't want to anger some lol.
By saying "once he fills the roster up with his guys" I'm not saying that they won't be any good next year.
They should be in the Top25 next year, make the Tournament and even make atleast the Sweet 16 next year, that would be more then they did in the last 23 years. Would be a great accomplishment.
If they go deeper into the Tournament next year, that would be butters to me.

I'm talking when he fills up the roster with his guys, I'm expecting lots of Tournament runs deeper then the sweet 16
Then again with all the transfers in/out these days, maybe I shouldn't be expecting that.
But should at least happen next year? Those are crazy expectation to place on any team. Let alone one who missed the NIT and hasn’t been to the semi finals of their own conference tourney in 23 years.
Could we make the sweet 16 next year? Sure. Should we expect it? Absolutely not.
