Noticed Jermaine Lawrence played 7 minutes with 0 points in loss to Harvard today. Recently he has been getting that level of time. Guess he will have opportunity next year with a few guys moving on, unless he gets antsy.

This kid Kanacevic for St. Joes is very impressive as well. NY kid from Staten Island. He and Roberts are the kind of bug, blue collar kids that we're lacking.

pretty sure guys like ron roberts and kanawhatever would not be the same players they are now if they plyed for lavin. they play for a better coach than we have...a coach who actually knows how to develop players.

Watching this game and our players match up well with either team....BUT they are coached so much better,. They have a plan, spacing is great and they can shoot. We really have problems. These player are not that much better then us.

It must be the coaches.

We beat both before this year. If Sanchez was the NBA player we were led to believe and Jordan was not distracted this could have been a different season. Then again we still would have suffered Pointer and Greene to cancel any improvement.

Jackie boy if you lived in NYC you would have heard about Halil! Terrific rebounder in high school and at Hofstra. While Pelle was not qualifying this kid was transferring. A missed opportunity by coaches who were unfamiliar with him. Half the battle is recruiting and both Lavin and Chiles are overrated in that area. I agree with you about the coaching but that is what Whitehead was hired for??
