Thought I'd join in on the backhanded comments about Lavin....

Sampson should watch Kaminsky to see just how much he needs to improve.

Baylor who crushed Creighton being crushed by Wisconsin.

I know you didn't mean this seriously, but it's fun to consider:

Of course, that doesn't mean that Wisconsin would automatically crush Creighton, or that Wisconsin would even beat Creighton. Sometimes, it's all about matchups

The thing about basketball is that with two good teams, if you play the game over, you can get a different result. In the NBA playoffs, occasionally the eventual NBA champ gets crushed in one of the games in the Finals. I'm not sure why it happens, but in tennis, often a great player goes down two breaks, and then tanks the set to conserve energy for the next set - kind of like conceding the set. Of course in the NCAA single elimination playoffs, there is no tomorrow, so this paragraph is irrelevant. More likely once a team gets on a roll and everything is clicking, the opponent sometimes just can't get it in gear.

Big 10 still has 3 teams left in 3 different regions. I am getting nervous about the Big East's 1985 record of 3 teams from the same conference in the Final 4.....

Louisville will take Michigan in the elite eight
Arizona over Wisconsin as well
MSU only big ten team that will get to final four in the end probably,

Maybe some coaching on the defensive end but the drive and dish is not coaching, it's freelance. But you get 5 of the top 25 kids every year you don't have to worry about it. Next year he's only got 4 of the top 30 (so far) let's see what Cal can do with that. ;)

How disgusting is it to see UConn playing on our home court in front of their fans? It was making me physically ill.

Side note, did anyone see how the UConn players rallied behind Kevin Ollie while he was being interviewed? I thought it was a sign of respect. I could never see St. John's players doing that for Lavin.

My thoughts, as well, austour and simplyred.
