NBA (Not B(v)ery Attached (to it), except a little bit if a local gets on a playoff run. Plus, this Knicks team is really a college team anyway (Villanicks).
Stuff like this is going to keep happening. Sports betting being embraced by pro sports leagues will be short lived, as the scandals pile up, methinks they eventually back off from having FANDUEL plastered all over their arenas and commercials. But who knows, money talks, and scamming irresponsible sports fans who think they can turn their life around by hitting some parlays is a layup for these leagues/apps. I'm hard-pressed to think of a guy with talent at a sport who had less desire to play it.
And not just basketball. Any sport.
Wonderful gesture. I was rooting for them before this (can't root for Kyrie) but am really rooting for them now.
Barkley and Shaq emphasizing benching Towns after the game last night. Guy is shooting poorly but has proven himself, I wonder how they would have reacted to getting benched in the conference finals because they were going through a rough stretch. You win or lose with who brung you there at this stage.
Both would have reacted by demanding a trade.
