Murray St Official Game Thread

How many more threes are we going to give up off out of bounds play. Thats at least 3 times.
 
Murray State is a 1 trick pony: chuck it up and pray. That's it. 3! 3! 3! 3! Maddening to watch.

So, whats the problem with that? Were a 1 trick pony toniight, D'lo, D'lo,D'lo
 
Everything has gone Murray's way in terms of getting the arrow, not being called on a ton of fouls, getting 1 million chances, getting stoppages of play right when we get a turnover, etc. Murray State would never survive in the Big East. All you have to do is either force a bad day from 3 point range, or match most of their 3's and you win. I know 3's are part of the game, but it feels so cheap to me to lose because the opponent was automatic from 3. It's like watching NBA video games where they have hot spots where they don't miss from. Thank god we won't have to hear about Murray State anymore when Canaan leaves. They should go right back to being a nonfactor.
 
Our defense is much different with Pointer on the bench which he has been for most of the half.

we sucked in the 2nd half - but the refs had it out for us.
and we have no one else to blame,

but the calls were f*cking b*llshit
 
You must remember you are dealing with a Southern crowd...they want Murray to win, they are the designated home team, and the refs are trying their best to see it through.
 
I'm not sure who pissed me off more. The ref's or Hair.

But we have only ourselves to blame. We didnt handle the pressure well in the 2nd half and made a lot of mistakes.

This was real frustrating because we should have won this game.

Just have to learn from this and move on and beat Baylor on sunday
 
We did not execute down the stretch, but poor officiating gave Murray State a chance to win that game and they took advantage of it.
 
You just have to get better guard play than we got; I know Harrison scored but we completely lost any semblance of offensive flow once Murray State extended their D. Poor loss IMO , when the going gets tough the answer can't be the guards dribbling the ball aimlessly.

I thought that was absolutely a foul.
 
Refs were bad but we were awful in the 2nd half. Take some crazy shots and make bad turnovers. Plus didn't identify shooters.

We need Branch, Phil and D'lo need a break.
