Wasn't able to watch last night's game, but followed on-line box score on ESPN and based on what I've read here and elsewhere, sounds like we gave a very good account of ourselves (as in Seton Hall game). Agree with many posters who have said they are watching the rest of the games with a more relaxed attitude.
Many posted here prior to start of season that the way the roster was constructed, we were one significant injury away from disaster. Not only did we have a significant injury to one of our most important players, but it was a season ending one. Can't expect much more than that the skeleton crew play tough the rest of the way and give us a few unexpected wins.
Next year looks promising on paper, especially with the increased depth. As others have said, Chris & Matt need to make certain the three freshman recruits actually come here. One additional piece I'd like to see us add is grad transfer traditional point guard unless staff intends to sell Shamorie on a full year of playing point and thinks they can make that work.
