MICHIGAN (@MSG), Mon., Nov. 13, 6:30p, FS-1

The 100's are sold out except 111 and 112, where it appears large blocks were released recently as every seat around them are bought and sole. They didn't sell 300's and 400's. Plenty of seats in 200's. Odd pricing where some good seats center court are available for under $50 but corner seats are close to $100. Plenty of good seats in resale available for less than that including many in section 114, but I hear that's a bad neighborhood.
yea, it looks like a bunch were just released. interesting strategy, but hopefully folks scoop these up.

Only sec in the Lower Bowl where ticket's have yet to be purchased* is 111/112... and a lot available in the 200s...

Not gonna lie- if there was a game i expected to be Sold Out- was the first Pitino game at MSG vs UM- who have a LARGE Alumni base in the City.

Surprised
I don't get it either.

Doesn't make any sense to me

It's a 6:30 (not 9pm) game

Against a nationally known and brand name program

With RICK PITINO as our coach !!!!!!!!

And it's @ The GARDEN !!!!!!!!!!

We have approximately 12,000 UNDERGRADS (maybe more)

And 180K Alumni !!!!

Isn't this what we have been waiting for ??

Well, I did get an email from St John's Alumni today urging me to show up for the game on Tuesday, Nov. 13th. Maybe getting the days of the week right would be a good start. LOL

112!!! My old section!

Fyi..... Been told (and as you may be aware) the game is FAR FROM SOLD OUT

Please call your relatives and friends

Buy some tickets for them as an early Christmas gift.

We need to send a message to the Metro area that St. John's is Back !

A huge crowd will not hurt our chances with VJ

Go Johnnies !!!!

Don't forget to wear RED on Monday night

When JSJ speaks or posts everyone should take heed . If he requests some fan support , do it .

Buy tickets for your Neighbors , Employees, Kids in HS that you know , etc

Take your Grandkids , they will be thrilled and a life long Memory . Not so much of the Game but , that you took them . How special is that !

Although not a full house I think attendance will be in the 15,000 (plus or minus a thouand) range.

If this was Saturday or Sunday afternoon game would have been better chance for SRO crowd.

Still got over 72hrs, lots of people do things last minute.

Hopefully we get a sellout.

No. Not close to 15000, not cliose to 11,000 as of a few days ago. Sales have been dismal for a team like ours.

Back in the 80s only a few games were televised. If you wanted to see us play you had to come to games. Now with TVs with 50-90 inch screens and all games televised even ardent fans watch at home.

Pitino 1st major opponent aside, a Monday night in Nov @ 6:30 doesn't help.
RSNC,
I think that is 100% true if we are talking about retirees and families. OTOH, for those working in the city, this is a perfect after work game that I would have been all over back in the day. I think Johnnies need to draw more of that demographic and they will with Rick once they get going.

Agree but if early to mid Dec with a decent record & showing in Charleston before BE play would have been better

Pitino alone not enough to fill. Not enough of the casuals know about the team and if any good.

I've suggested to SJU that ticket sales will start to quickly climb if we beat Michigan and do very well in Charleston. Sad part about our fanbase is back in 2011 the run was almost over when fans bought in and showed up in big #s. Don't remember exactly but Pittbgame was prob the high point. In the meantime fans missed a lot of very good and fun basketball waiting to be proven the team was for real before showing up.

Actually right now there is breathing room with empty seats and the parking lots not a total mess. This will end soon

True, but nowadays tues-thurs are much better since a lot of people don’t go into the office Monday and Friday (me included).

I’m watching Michigan vs Youngstown St. now. Tarris Reed and Nkamhoua are two 6’9 - 6’10 guys both a solid 250. We’re going to have to work hard to keep them off the boards. They play them together. Soriano and Ledlum will have their work cut out for them. Going to need something from Zuby also.

My 80 inch TV and honestly just old age have definitely changed how I approach games. But also SJU specifically has a predominantly non sports fan base. The city will catch on if we start winning but sadly our current students and grads mostly never dribbled a ball or cared for people who do. Maybe that will change moving forward but we can't bank on the past grads IMO
