Alvarado’s yank of Ponds’s arm getting tech & sitting for a while was one of those momentum breakers. Not pretty, but take the win & sweep the rest of the “gimmes” before BE play.

OK....I have a serious question. Shouldn't the foul on Moore been a dead ball intentional foul? Meaning Two shots SJU AND Possession??? I played basketball all my life and have never seen a foul prior to an inbound that is not considered Intentional? Did the rule change???
Games could be extended indefinitely?
 
hey... a win is a win and this win makes St. John's 7 & 0..... on to Wednesday December 5th against Mount St. Mary's.

That was outstanding defense the last 10 minutes. 1 bad defensive set at the end. Otherwise we used are speed and ball instincts to put pressure on GT to take bad shots or have the wrong guy shooting them. Did this while undersized. Won this game on defense and Ponds. Just another way to win a game. In years past we never win this game as the defense was not this good/solid. Go REDMEN!!!!
