What I can't comprehend is why we aren't 8-0 after six games. What a friggin' nightmare.

They outscored us by 3 in the 2nd half so I’m guessing this was an absolutely terrible game for us and I should be worried?

You laugh but we got outscored by 3 in the 2nd half. I doubt we win a BE game all season.
 
Hardly a resume building win. MDES did not look good enough to be a Division II school. Very concerning is the continued trend of not defending the three point shot. The Big East may be down this year but every team is better than any team we have faced so far.

You sure were. We did a lot of things well especially on offense but once again let a team shoot over 40% from three. Andino single handedly kept them within sight. Shouldn't happen and will kill us against better teams if we don't tighten up defending the three.

Did you watch the game? The score shows talent differential but we played an awful 2nd half. This team shot like 18% on North Texas.

St. John's wins 85-64. Wasn't that close. Figueroa with 25, 13 and 5 steals. Heron had 20 and 9. 6-0 for first time in 8 years. #sjubb
 
Why does the 2nd half matter to any of you? We were winning by almost 30 points late in the 1st half.

What does this game have to do with any other game this season? What does this game have to do when we play Seton Hall or Villanova in February? Is Ponds gonna think about the 6 points he scored tonight when he’s sitting at the line with 30 seconds remaining in a close BE game? Is anyone on the Tourney committee gonna scratch their head and say “you know what? This team got outscored in the 2nd half against whatever this team is called.”

This game means nothing. They won easily. Effing relax. Cry if we lose to DePaul or Providence. I’m getting sick of this “woe is us” crap.

A win is a win. I'll take it. Now lets get a win on saturday for our florida guys on here that are going to the game and put on a show for them

I'm far from a basketball guru, but it seems to me we're always doubling down to help out down low to help with our lack of size. This inevitably leads to a lot of open three's. Don't know if there is an easy fix.

There's no way we win another game this year. If only we could've won the second half by 1.
