I think this is the game we needed after Barclays tournament and before playing Georgia Tech in Miami. Hopefully we play very well and our freshmen get an opportunity to play. They need to gain some experience before the Big East season begins. Any opportunity for them to get that is welcome. There is going to come a time where we will need some of them.[/quote]

Agreed. The guys looked gas to START the VCU game. This ended up being a great schedule move. No Thomas Aquinas fiasco revisited here.

But AGREED with everyone (except Mullin maybe) that the Frosh need to get good PT in this game. Get them in early. Focus on execution and if they don't execute. Pull them, explain it and give them another chance.

Maryland ES appears to be the gang that couldn't shoot straight: 25% from three and 35% from two through six games. A good matchup for us for sure. Also not too big.

I bet they shoot their highest from 3 against us

Opportunity to pad our rebounding stats, hopefully JR gets meaningful minutes

Willing to bet that they shoot well against us in spurts...probably the 1st half. Then go cold in 2nd half. Because you have to expect the polar opposite of bad teams with bad stats coming in lol sad but true. Has been a clear pattern for our teams to play down to even teams in D2. If we can get by Princeton and Georgia Tech it will really set us up nicely to perhaps go undefeated OOC and open some eyes. Going undefeated OOC would surely put us in the top 25 I would think. Assuming we win this game and the GT game we should be right on the cusp and possibly sneak in top 25.

Minimum acceptable point differential is to win by 65, say 90-25. Otherwise, it ill kill out NET score and we won't make the tournament.

Just like the Yankees. Some 19 year old kid with a 3 - 6 record and a 6,45 ERA comes in and shuts then out.

I assume this is sarcastic.
The NET only quantifies point differential to I believe ten points to discourage running up the score.

Put your sneakers on Josh :)

Sarcastic, what makes you say that?

The final score is immaterial. You need to know who played and how long. If backups play many minutes for experience, that will have an impact on the final score. Just let the team play and do not get wrapped up in the final score.

If we win by more than 10pts to get the maximum BPI credit and Roberts and Williams play extended minutes that’s ok.

Gtown lost to Mike Dunlap and undefeated LMU
