If Joel does not have a big game and Dingle, Luis and Jenkins don’t go off, this has the making of a runaway train with the Johnnie’s left at the station.

We may be OK if Joel just neutralizes their big guy (Ighodaro--14.4ppg/7.3rebs).

Agreed, but it still also comes down to them playing defense for 40 minutes and defending the pick and roll. Yes, we need to have a couple of players have big games but if we do not play defense the entire game we will lose a 94-88 game.

If thunder our lightning horse has to play as an emergency reserve, we LOSE. Bottom line another important game for us. Lets pick up the W.

One of the best performances of the Mullin years was a win over Marquette in his final season. I think we won by 20, and at one point were up by 30. Total domination of a good Marquette team.

Don't see us winning this one @ Marquette but will be a close loss. We needed to beat them at MSG (and should have). This is a projection rest of way. Straight bubble team that will need a couple Big East Tournament wins. Right now, we stand at 14-9. Going into Big East Tournament, I anticipate our record will be: 18-13. The Big East Tournament will determine our fate, bottom line or its NIT.

-@ Marquette- Loss- Better team, at their place.
-@ Providence- Loss- Nearly beat us, not sure if we have answer for Gardner.
-vs, Seton Hall- Win- Prob will blow them out, they will have no fans hauling it to LI and the Wusu pumpkin will run out
-@ Georgetown- Loss- Upset possible more likely at their place
-vs. Creighton - Win - we get them back at MSG.
-@ Butler- Loss- playing good ball and tough out at their place.
-@ DePaul - Win- worst college basketball team we have seen in years -venue don't matter
-vs. Georgetown- Win- end the season with a big win at home for the fans coming off DP win

We better do better then the NIT or this season will me a major disappointment. I still have hope the guys will come through in these next 8 games. But if we lose the next three, it’s over.

I want to believe.

This is a fair matchup when we play well, and we are due for some good luck and a hot night.

I want to believe we make main draw NCAAT. But since I’ve been a fan we have clearly been in only one time (2011). Made main draw I think twice in last 13 yrs or 15% of time. No wins in it in 24 yrs. Every time we (familiarly) have lots of work to do & need to finish hot to make NCAAT, we seem to blow it. Every yr we hear we can make BET run & never do. Even at home. All of this has contributed to a lost generation & if they keep it up it may be two generations. For once I hope we somehow finish strong, beat some real BE teams like Marq/Crei & make main draw. So sick of every March seeing people so excited talking about teams & brackets & we’re never in it. Please basketball gods just give us 4-5 yrs of fun & success.

Hope we can do beter than this. Above would have us at 8-10 in BE before final two (DePaul, G'Town). Would not get BE first round bye and would need to get to at least BE semi for NCAA Bid. Need minimum of 1 win vs, Providence / Butler / Marquette and no loss to G'Town. Road win at Marquette would be a difference maker with so many teams in BE with similar records.
