March Madness

Great job on the analysis Adam! I agree with your reasoning on all games, however you’re asking a lot of a man requesting that he pull for Duke!

Adam, really appreciate your analytics over the past few weeks. Very helpful...!

Brackets that have been updated today.

NBC (Rob Dauster) - 10 Seed
CBS (Jerry Palms) - 11 Seed (Top 11 Seed)

I will continue updating this as I find more

Interesting dilemma today. If we win it's great but it also knocks our Marquette home win from being a Quad 1 win.

We just need to keep winning, we can move up seed lines, or hell, win the BET!

I think we end up being a 7 in that case.

We are cutting it very close. I have seen us as the last 4 in as of this morning on a few projections. I think 1 more win is a lock. A loss and we have to sweat it out and start hoping for other teams to lose. Hope they win a few more!

That's another dilemma. Being an 11 or 12 is seemingly better than being 7-10.

Also of note. As a 10 or 11 I believe we have a shot to play in Hartford. Wouldn't be too bad travel wise.

Asked this question on another thread, but didn't get an answer: are the BET games considered "home games" for us in the view of the NCAA Tourney selection process? If so, wondering how much impact it will have.

Indiana just lost to Ohio State. The Hoosiers are now off the bubble and headed to the NIT.

Watching K-State and TCU and they said Lunardi has us as one of the last four byes. We need this game tonight or we are playing on Tuesday

Lunardi isn't the gospel. Just because he says it doesn't make it so. He's one of many bracketologists out there. He doesn't have a seat on the committee.

I understand that but I would feel much better with a win tonight. I do think if we lose we could still wind up in Dayton

He is not the only bracketologist but it shows how close we are to being in vs out of the field. A win would go a long way. A loss and we are sitting on the edge of our seats on Sunday.

NET counts them as Home.

Personally, after consuming about as much information as I can. If no other bubble teams go on runs, I think we will be in, with an 11, and no trip to Dayton.

Big Games For Us
Teams below us on bracketmatrix
Creighton losing would be huge
Alabama losing to Ole Miss
Texas losing to Kansas
Georgetown losing to Seton Hall
ASU losing to UCLA

Teams above us on brackematrix
TCU falling to KState
Minnesota Losing to Penn State
Seton Hall losing to Georgetown

I believe because we exceed that number at MSG it is considered a home game.
