March Madness
Not comfortable being last 2 in either, but we made our own bed. Losing record in conference.
Losers in 5 of last 7 by an average of 16.8 ppg. Three of those at home by an avg of 20.7.
We are fortunate to still be in the discussion. If Dayton is our destiny, take it and run.
This belongs in the "We don't deserve NCAA bid" thread as well. In literally any other year we'd be 101 percent out. We wouldn't even be in the conversation. Those are ugly, scary numbers.

Tired of feeling cheated and not able to celebrate our school on this weekend. That feeling is needed for us, the loyal fans, who have suffered for the better part of 20 years.

Time for our program to join in the party.

I think Danscaping gets my vote.

Jack Williams when did you graduate. Me 1967
That means you actually witnessed quality basketball. Not sure Jack actually has.

Critical game on CBS right now, Utah State vs San Diego State. Need Utah to win or else another bid stealer could take our spot.

Breakdown of SJU making the tourney:

Cons: Choked down the stretch severely and probably don't deserve the bid.

Pros: Mullin is very Irish and tomorrow is St. Paddy's day!

This post would fit nice in the March Madness thread

Not sure if it's been discussed here, but people on Twitter are saying the viewing party (which was never announced) has been cancelled. Assuming this is true, because the school hasn't promoted a viewing party like they typically do. Very disappointing if true. Can anybody confirm?

Not from players with jerseys that say “St. John’s” on them

Cincy pulling away from Wichita so that’s a plus. This Utah state second half is gonna be nerve wracking

Isn’t Iowa state a problem?

Nah they are in. Probably a 4 or 5 seed too. No bid stealing there

Heresy here to many, but Seton Hall always brings it. Give me an overachieving team over “best talent in BE” squad” every time.

You think they are sweating out Powell returning like SJU is with Ponds. I don't think so. Nice problem to have

As they say «  hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard enough «  and Seton Hall works hard every night on both ends of the floor. They defend every possession toughly and play smart on offense. Is that so hard to do every night ? That is exactly what I would love to see from our team. Kudos to Williard as he is clearly doing something very right.

The Hall fans are really critical of Willard, but the guy deserved BE COY. Picked 8th in the preseason BE coaches poll, finish 3rd and knocking on the door for his 2nd BET title. About to make the big dance 4 years in a row.
Gotta go back to Lou C for the last time we had a coach do that.
