Kyle Anderson PG (UCLA)

 AdamZagoria tweeted:

Kyle Anderson Sr. said his son and Kyle`s sister Brittany will take a 3rd trip to UCLA Tuesday on way to Boost Mobile Elite 24

A third trip? I thought everyone had written off UCLA, but if that's the case, why this?

Although, he'll be in the Los Angeles area.... I was thinking along the same lines, redken. Maybe, it's more of a complementary visit. Let's all hope so.

I look forward to reading a post by The Honorable "CR Green" as to his take on Kyle's 3d visit to UCLA.

On Sept. 20, the day of his 18th birthday, Anderson plans to pick a school and he has indicated St. John’s is an intriguing option. The St. John’s fans in attendance got a peak into the possible future on Sunday.

He's playing in Venice Beach and UCLA is 15-20 minutes from there. Why not take a trip over there? If he didn't it would be pretty clear to everyone that they weren't being considered and tipping their hands is not something the Anderson's are doing.

Have you seen the list of NBA players taking classes at UCLA this summer? It's a chance for Kyle to get some runs in with the best of the best. It's also the biggest decision of his young life and there is nothing wrong with making sure you make the right choice.

I'm not worried.

If he was taking a trip to LA, independent of any basketball events, I would be worried. I am starting to think this is a Florida vs St Johns battle.

Florida is the school on the list that worries me. Don't like billy getting the last visit. Still feel good about our chances with what others have reported

Yeah, I don't like it either and it is also an official so Florida is paying for the trip however I cant help but notice how chatty KA has become with former and current Johnnies

I don't think the Florida trip is any indication of anything. It's official probably so he doesnt have to pay for the trip to travel back down there. We're second to last which is fine with me.

15 to 20 minutes maybe at 4 a.m. on Tuesdays.

An hour any other time.

Can't say I've ever driven it. I googled mapped it.

Oh it's just my never-ending, east-coast biased slam against L.A. and its horrendous traffic.

Not even close fortunately. That was a big fear of mine before I moved out here, everyone said the traffic would be a nightmare. Neither my wife nor I have had a commute over 20-25 minutes tops since we moved here. FWIW I never had a commute to midtown of less than 30 from Park Slope or Hartsdale (1 hour door to door), my addresses my last 11 years in NY.

Drive from courts at Venice Beach to Pauley even on a busy beach Saturday would be 25 mins top provided you know where you're going. I'm only 10 mins from Venice Beach, if I didn't think the crowds would be awful I'd consider going down to watch and flash an SJU jersey at Kyle and Amile.

PS: Man it's weird seeing "Posts: 3" next to my name.

I was out in Santa Monica last week. Had a great time every time I wasn't on a freeway.... or a pier.

Yeah the pier can be a madhouse on the weekend. Good thing my kids have gotten a little too big for it.

Santa Monica's great but pricey, I live just on the South/Eastern corner a couple blocks from Santa Monica Airport but in LA.

That 25 minute drive from Venice Beach to Pauley will not get on the Freeway, by the way.

St. John's and UCLA stand out for @KyleAnderson5 because they're in "large media markets," source with knowledge tells SNY.tv

Sounds like Kobe Bryant and OJ Mayo. LOL Nevertheless, I like the Johnnies being mentioned, as one of the frontrunners.
