Have no idea if this is fact or fiction but a buddy of mine from SH just told me that KA has cancelled his conf. tomorrow and that Willard and Hollaway are at his house right now.

Sounds like its a done deal. Hope KA plays well while at UCLA (unless they're playing SJU).

I'm still laughing.
We only have a few more hours before this recruitment is over. It's probably between UCLA or SHU, as many already know.
He probably was sold on UCLA during the Elite 24 game. Not to mention, he and Shabazz had that particular school in common. I never really thought it would happen, considering the distance. But, it seems like it could very, well happen.
Howland "lucked" his way into all of this, if you ask me. Basically, right place/right time scenario. Tony Parker probably will follow, if Kyle ultimately chooses UCLA. A pretty, strong class inevitably awaits UCLA.
As, far as the Johnnies.... We'll be fine! The conference will eventually place some solid basketball teams in the conference, and Lavin and the staff will keep on truckin'. One player, regardless how elite he is, will not stop this show. We can thank our lucky stars that this is no longer the days of Norm.

For what it's worth, there is a guy on the PirateCrew website that has posted he received a text from a friend/member of the Florida coaching staff that has told him that Kyle is going to UCLA. Needless to say the guys on PirateCrew are giving him the business for not naming the source and even going as far as to suggest that the "friend" is actually Norm Roberts. Just repeating what I read so don't kill the messenger LOL. I have to admit however, the negativity on that site is just as bad as it was here during the down years.

LOL Those clowns are gonna have a meltdown on that board, if Kyle doesn't matriculate to the Hall. He's their lifeline and anything short of him joining the Pirates will crush 'em. Not to mention, people are gonna flock to their board and give 'em the business.
I saw one poster suggest it was a St. John's coach, instead of the Florida coach. LOL Then, they want the guy to name his source. I believe the same poster believed a Johnnies coach was pushing UCLA (once the Johnnies were eliminated a couple of days ago), so Kyle wouldn't go to Seton Hall. I bet that particular poster wished he never posted any info on the Hall's board.
It's gonna be interesting to see their fans take, if Kyle indeed ends up with UCLA.

The vibe on this thread hasn't been doom and gloom. Most of the fans are taking it in stride (myself, included). Sure, we would love to have Kyle. But, we know our staff can get blue-chippers and seems capable of building a team. We aren't dependant on one particular player like we were in the past and like the current Hall fans.
Most of the doom and gloom was about the conference realignment. Majority of the fans really wasn't doom and gloom about that either. The doom and gloom hasn't been about Anderson heading to a school not St. John's.
This particular thread has been pretty even keeled.
According to Jerry Meyer it's UCLA.
All I know is 2 or 3 weeks ago Mcnpa and myself went to dinner with redmen.coms "Still Happy now shortened to just Happy " and he had gotten info that day from a source out there that UCLA was a done deal.
We didn't believe it then but he was probably one of the 1st ones to call it right.
