You say you love St John's basketball and then you knock me for quoting Hurley's statement that we'll have a terrific sophomore roster for him Kyle to play with. As I said out of the finalists only one school had a top 3 recruiting class this year. That's a fact that YOU seem to be ignoring. There are many other reasons to pick St John's and hopefully Kyle knows them all but he sure didn't find out about them from a non-cheerleader like you.
My last comment, I was not knocking you and I never said Hurley didn't talk about the talent we brought in, I merely stated he didn't say it in the context you presented it because you, as usual, took his statement and twisted it to fit your own little view of the universe. What you and some others seem to ignore is that what are reasons you see to pick SJU may mean nothing to Kyle and reasons to pick other schools, which of course are "nuts" to you, may mean the world to him; different strokes and all that. I respect KA's (and every recruits) right to make the best decision for them and try to remain objective about the process but then again I have a life............
so the shu insider says his sources are local high school and college coaches. Not people inside the ka camp. He is basically going on peoples opinions of where Kyle is going. Pretty reckless to me because he has really gotten their fanbase believing. I'll keep liking our chances ing ka officially announces.

you mean hysterical laughter emoticon Moose. No sweat. We either get Kyle or we don't - life goes on. If the Hall doesn't get Kyle, life goes on - it's just going to suck for about another few years until they see if Willard can get it done.

Someone posted a back and forth between zags and a hall fan on JJ. Fan said Zags who are your sources. Zags finally broke down and said I speak to Kyle Jr. Kyle Sr. And Jimmy Salmons several times a week. Who do you speak to?".
Like I said earlier, the Halldan guy seems to be getting opinions from local coaches. Other people are talking to much closer sources. Again, I like our chances until Kyle announces on the 20th. The kid and his family have been a class act all the way thru it seems.

Let the Hall fans tell it.... Salmons' opinion doesn't mean squat and the Anderson's aren't telling anything (unless, it's people they are close to or trust and Zags doesn't fit the bill on either). I guess Jimmy Salmons isn't close to the Anderson's nor do they trust him. LOL What a funny bunch! :lol:

If Anderson ends up at the Hall it would have the same effect on that program that a kid from Brooklyn had on Cincy! LOL! There is ZERO comparison between the staffs at the Hall and SJ! The Hall has Norm Roberts level staff. If that is where the KA camp is leaning then they are not as smart and analytical as they appear to B!!!
Exactly, or a kid from Washington Heights had at SJU in 1994 -1998 I believe.
I wouldn't go, as far as saying they wouldn't be smart and analytical, if chooses the Hall. People have reasons, whether we agree with 'em or not, for choosing schools. I think he'd be surrounded by better talent at St. John's than Seton Hall, but he may have the belief (and confidence) he could carry a team.
I believe he has the ability to carry a team, but I don't think he could do that on a game-to-game basis. Hence, why I feel he'd be in heckuva scenario at St. John's rather than SHU. Not to mention, I think he'll be under the tutelage of a top 5 coaching staff.
I'll also add that I believe Anderson is a better player and has a better head than the Brooklyn kid who went to Cincy. Let's hope and wish for the best come next Monday.

KA certainly has the ability to carry his high school team. College ball is a different animal as Lance S learned the hard way. While KA seems to have his head on straight as opposed to LS who was catered to since his frosh year of HS and was ruined by his dad. LS however is a physical specimen with an NBA body but who never gave 100% in any given game and he never grasped the importance of playing defense on any level he has played. Pound for pound I would say LS is a more gifted all-around player and my only issue with KA is his ability to play defense against talented players in the 6'5-6'7 range who are quicker than him. KA will be as good as the players around him and that is where UCLA or SJ should provide the best opportunity. If he thinks he will carry a SH team then I think he will have a Lance experience as a frosh at the Hall and he will ultimately regret his decision.
