Knicks

Watching this Knicks game, I realize that the player our Johnnies are missing is Josh Hart. He seems to grab every clutch rebound, brings up the energy, starts fast breaks, etc.

My favorite Knick, other than Brunson.

not taking the SJU loss AS hard today because I know later tonight I get to crack a cold one and watch the best point guard in the league lead the Knicks to 10 straight on ABC (alright curry is still the best PG in the league but I’m bias) :)

+1000, plus my second favorite Knick, Mr. Hustle Josh Hart.

Ryan Arcidiacono becomes first NBA player to play in and fail to score in 20 consecutive games

These are great deals. This team is deep. Leon Rose knows what he is doing. He was patiently and methodically building this team the right way.

As fans, admittedly it was hard to sit and watch because it has been so long, but in three years Rose has transformed the roster and culture into a legitimate title contender.

This is also a reminder to the SJU fan side of us.

I'm skeptical whenever we land a big-time scorer from a bad team. Looking at you Kiki, Tony Campbell, Charles Smith, etc.

But I hope Bojan provides depth and a spark off the bench when we are back to 100% health.

Luckily Bojan has been a part of a semi-decent Utah Jazz playoff runs the few years before he went to Detroit.

They were 2 wins away from the Western conference finals in 2021. As a team, they folded to the Clippers that year, but Bojan himself averaged 18 a game on good shooting splits. He is a nice piece especially when you pair him with a point guard who will get him the ball in his spots.

In 2022, they were a quick out due to running into the Dallas Mavericks and this feisty backup point guard they used to have ;)

And, most importantly, Bojan has a non-guaranteed contract next year for 20 mill so he'll definitively be in the superstar trade.

I grew up a diehard Knick fan late 60's and 70's and then my passion switched from the Pros to college exclusively.

Haven't looked back since. As an even more die hard Johnnies fan, had some moments since the early 70's.

Nice to see the Knicks doing well, but doesn't hold a candle to when the Johnnies are doing well.
