This is looking worse by the day.
Do we really need permission or is this just them saying they are not interested?

Probably a combo as “technically” since these coaches are under contract, I would think they need permission to even engage them. Either way, this search is going no where real quick.Do we really need permission or is this just them saying they are not interested?
Hate to say it, but this is looking more and more like the dysfunctional Knicks organization of the first twenty years of this century. Made no sense to fire Thibs unless they had what they considered a strong replacement who they knew they could land.I wouldn't describe myself as a huge thibs guy but the names we are involved with are weak and do not justify letting him go directly after an eastern conference finals appearance. This is looking ridiculous
But since Dolan’s fingerprints are all over the coaching move doubt the egomaniac goes for a guy he has fired.Hate to say it, but this is looking more and more like the dysfunctional Knicks organization of the first twenty years of this century. At this point they should be feeling out Jeff Van Gundy’s interest imho
Just wait till he gets us those 500,000 brake pads and see who’s squealingWho would have guessed that decision making led by Jim "Tommy Boy" Dolan would be aimless and haphazard? Clown shoes.
Mike Brown, sheesh!Recent scuttlebutt says Johnnie Bryant, Taylor Jenkins and Mike Brown all candidates
Of those names Taylor Jenkins makes the most sense to me.Fair to wonder if Knicks, knowing Thibs was not their guy, had any semblance of an alternative plan. This feels “Dolanesque”.
