Knicks

I would sit Randle for a stretch.  Maybe he can come off the bench with a different mindset.  His shortcomings are all psychological right now.

Going to be very hard for Knicks to win tonight. Randle has lost his confidence, Rose played 19 first half minutes which doesn't bode well for the 4th quarter and Barrett is still really a good complimentary player at this point. Just not going to be enough 4th quarter firepower absent Randle waking up big time.

Randle has almost as many turnovers as points. Embarrassing performance by him and the Knicks other than Rose who needs a rest.

Thank God for Rose. Have to bring Burks or Quickley in to give him a rest for last 4 plus minutes of the quarter though.

Bullock hits 2 huge threes in a row and Thibs takes him out and leaves exhausted Rose in; don't get that one but what di I know. Randle showing signs though.

Huge turnaround. Knicks up 6, Quickley misses a wide open 3 and Gallinari knocks in a 3. What could have been a 9 point lead is down to 3 with 10 minutes left. Just like watching the Johnnies lol.

Nine man rotation for the rest of the series with Payton making his 5 minute cameo. Toppin deserves 10-15 minutes

Derrick Rose has played 38 minutes at the point with 1 turnover tonight. Randle much better in 2nd half but Rose & Bullock keys to this win.

really touching moment. Love Obi.
I hope she was at the first game as well. The chants were loud and proud that night as well. Saving his best performances for the biggest stage. His name fits nicely into the crowd chant. Just like F Trae Young :)

Unsung hero was Taj Gibson who seemed to get an offensive board every key moment in the 3rd and 4th and would just kick it out to reset the offense.

So great to see the Garden like that again.

And is there anything better than listening to Clyde call a playoff game when the Knicks are coming back?!

Agree and Burks also had several offensive boards. Knicks have done an excellent job on the boards in general outrebounding the Hawks in both games despite Capela's league leading rebounder during regular season. Thibs loves those vets; Rose, Burks & Gibson played 39, 30 and 30 minutes.

Just a really discouraging first half to watch. Thankfully we are right on the ocean at Wrightsville Beach so waves will put me to sleep even if Knicks leave me with a bad case of agita. Where are our two main guys - MIA again.

Knicks won’t win this series but it would’ve been nice if the young players showed some flashes. They’ve all struggled for the most part.

Rose has been phenomenal but when you’re a young team trying to build something... and all the kids aren’t showing up, it’s a tough pill to swallow. Learning experience I guess

Enjoy.

Randle is totally lost.
It's almost like the Knicks are trying to get him some confidence, but it's only making things worse.  At some point, they may have to sit him.  They won't win anyway, so what's the harm?  That's not me saying that he needs to be off the team for good.  I'm talking only in the context of this series.

I do think he's trying, in fact, he's probably trying too hard.  Shooting 2 foot layups about 6 feet, putting too much on his passes, etc.  I almost hope it comes out afterwards that he was playing through an injury.  That would explain a lot.

Credit must be given to the Hawks, too.  They have executed their defensive game plan against him to a T.
