Keeping Up With Old Friends Thread

Understanding Josh knew his role would be reduced with Soriano coming in, but in a perfect world would have loved to see him grab the minutes Nyiwe played. Great to see Josh doing well.

If Harrison ever has kids who play basketball, have a feeling they will break the streak of never getting a legacy player to come here.

Heck if even if they do not play sports, chances are they will attend SJU.

Jokes aside, Harrison is a pure success story. While he has justifiably earned all of the praise for his work ethic and determination to make himself a better person, this will also be one of Lavin’s greatest accomplishments as SJU coach.

Harrison could not have done it alone. Lavin’s support was instrumental.

We are…

1. Is Josh Roberts in the NBA? I thought his aunt posted a video of him playing against the Washington Wizards?

2. Lavin did a lot of good things for us, he was a Pitino-PR-wise for a while, always positive energy and always prompting the school. I agree his greatest accomplishment is DLo and what that young man turned into. A great success project. I think they are still very close.

3.Here's hoping Lavin has success at the University of San Diego (except if they play us).

Josh plays for the NBL Cairns Taipans. They were playing an exhibition game against the Wizards.

Yeah, I have a few friends who were Taipan season ticket holders in the day who also had to put up with my STJ ramblings during an annual sales mission that frequently overlapped with March Madness. I have alerted them to give Josh a warm welcome if they see him on the Esplanade.

I don’t remember seeing Jones was cleared as a 2 time transfer but good for him if true.
