Keeping Up With Old Friends Thread

One of my favorite passes of all time.

That and another against Syracuse at AH when Chris grabs a pass mid-air with his left hand at the foul line while Cuse is playing zone.

He then swings the ball across the back of his head perfectly to a cutting Wennington for a dunk.

2:32 mark

He actually didn’t grab it but he taps/slaps it redirecting it over to Wennington, still one of the best passes I have seen in person.

espken, you always come up with great stuff (videos and facts).

I remember that game like it was yesterday.
Mullin and Rafael Addison were going at it shot for shot (Both scored in the 30s). Pearl’s freshman year. Overtime and it’s Greg Monroe who breaks our hearts with a baseline jumper at the buzzer to beat us by a point.

would love to get DLo on staff when he's finished playing.

He has everything a player can relate to... Talent / Struggle/ Failure / Recovery / Success.... and Passion... would be a great role model on our Bench

“Washed out” isn’t how I would refer to someone who played 12 years in the NBA. He hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2021/22 season. Last I heard, he is in Florida and I was told he was moving on with his post NBA career.

Spending that $62 mill in career earnings wisely I hope.

PS he's renting out his house down the road from me for about $22K per month. Bought it for $3.6 mill in 2019, would probably sell for about $4.5 mill today. Not even that nice a block but a real nice development flip job. Sold for $1.3 mill in 2015 before the renovations.

I guess my info about Florida is dated.
