I liked Scott…he had talent
Phew
. For a minute there I was worried we lost. I couldn’t remember what happened in that game. Started to think 
Paultz wouldn’t have posted a “losing“ video?! Thankfully not. 
James Scott could ball. Got caught up in all the hype around Felipe and Zendon. Team would have been better off if the offense went through the more experienced Scott instead of Felipe that year. IMHO
Started out slow his junior year making the adjustment from Juco but really came on, especially his senior year. That team talent wise (Scott, Lopez, Hamilton, Minlend, McLeod, Barrett) should have gone dancing.
Mahoney recruited a ton of high-level talent to SJU at all except one position: PG.
Mahoney passed on Kareem Reid who would have made them a Final 4 team
Mahoney's loss was Mike Anderson's gain.
Kareem would not have played with the 94/95 season (his freshman year) as he was academically ineligible. But yeah, what a difference he could have made during the other three years. Imagine him as a senior on the 97/98 team playing with Felipe, Zendon, the Artest formally known as Ron, Lavar Postell and Ty ”Boogie” Grant as you main players. That team went dancing without him and with a PG by committee.
Has he now been on every team in the league?
