Great win in honor of Coach C. The TV announcers at halftime said that Pitino in the locker room was going to "rip them a new one." I guess he did and it clearly worked! Nice touch with the sweater too.

Sometimes its not just about the boxscore, sometimes you have to have coached CYO basketball to see what the simple folk can't see or understand.Don't look at boxscore.
How dare you ask him to do that? He did all those other things like John Cena...they can't be seen by us.
Pitino must have told him not to or the ball just always bounced off rim in opposite direction
Somehow 6 foot Smith got 9 and Wilcher got 4...but that's just what boxscore said.

Positive Stats of the day 8 turnovers, +11 rebounds, 94% from the line
Surprising Mood Changers (for the better): Wilcher came in and really D up Hausen in the 2nd half, Richmond midrange and free throw stroke looked like last year, when RJ Luis passes he really opens up the offense.
Room of improvement: help D is still 2 steps slow, we can revert to "me ball".

I think Prey can be special. Yes he fouls. But remember Zuby was a foul machine last year too. Pitino has really developed his game in every respect. But Vince will also contribute this year.

Great crowd and great win.
Hausen was automatic in the first half! Brady was no match on him and played too many 1st half minutes. Most of those minutes should have gone to Prey and Smith so Pitino adjusted in the second half and we rolled from there.
Zuby was the MVP by far and played with intensity that Kadary Richmond lacks.
Wilcher was fantastic today! Scott is still inconsistent.
I want to see better bench use against Bryant .....especially Prey.

Brady struggled today, but to his credit he did adjust his defense on Hausen in the 2nd half and performed a lot better on him. And since it's hard to criticize a 17 win especially with the fans and the coaches honoring Louie, I'm going to say, even though he struggled he never let that effect his effort.

I'd feel very confident in our success this year if Dunlap, Scott, and Smith finish 35%+ from 3. It's a tall order but Smith and Scott have a really nice stroke. As for Brady I hope he uses a little more discretion with his shot attempts. Let Kadary or Luis drive and get your feet set for the kick out.
