Kadary

It’s clear to me that Kadary came into the season a little out of shape and it explains some of the lazy defensive plays and weak drives we saw earlier in the season

I’m just so happy to say that those issues are completely gone. Not only is he dynamite driving the ball, but his defense… it’s like he’s not even the same guy from November/December. The guy who used to be caught ball watching and getting beat off the dribble is now seemingly everywhere.

Maybe it was a situation where he had to play himself into shape. You see that with some pro players (Luke Doncic does it every year).

Donnie Marshall mentioned several times that Kadary looks to be in the best shape he’s seen him in. Might’ve been the only coherent thing that dumbass said all night.

What a game for Kadary and I’m glad we have him!

not sure if Kadary wasn't in shape or was it tendonitis in his knee. either way he has it going now.

Kadary the last three games has been hitting his foul shots also!

To my eye it was him being a little out of shape. What further confirmed that to me was Rick also mentioned him needing to lose 5-10 pounds a couple weeks ago. It seems like that has happened. Whatever it is I’m just so glad. Cause the dude is money

I've been a Kadary skeptic from day one but he was excellent tonight but so was Sim, Zuby and my man Scott on D before fouling out. Best SJU team in many a year for sure
Totally agree. On the train heading home. Had a great experience sitting on the floor tonight. KR's defense all night was great, but his on-ball defense approached excellence in the 2nd half and OT.

I wonder how much having Smith out has actually helped him. He looks a lot more comfortable these last couple of games.
Yep he has the ball in his hands a lot more now with Smith out. He needs the ball in his hands to be at his most effective. He’s obviously not a catch and shoot guy, not much of a cutter and doesn’t rebound his teammate’s misses. The team misses Deivon, but Kadary’s numbers don’t.
