That pass to Big Bill at 2:35 is among the best I've ever seen.

So too is that pass to Big Bill at 1:33.

=====

Watching the Mullin video and recalling how strong the StJohn's mens basketball program was 36 years ago it is difficult to comprehend the many errors the then St. John's University braintrust (Harrington and the Board of Trustees) made during the period 1989 through 2013 that allowed / caused the StJohn's academic and athletic footprint to errode.

A new era at St. John's starts on Monday (February 1st) with the  Presidency of St. John's being assumed by Rev. Brian J. Shanley.

Please take a moment to read the below interview of Presiudent Shanley

"No president in the 100-year history of Providence College has impacted this Catholic and Dominican institution so deeply as Rev. Brian J. Shanley......   His [Rev. Shanley's] hand not only touched, but prospered, the most compelling elements of Providence College’s operations and its people, from academic excellence, diversity and inclusivity, and Catholic and Dominican ethos to campus landscape, athletics prosperity, and financial stability."

I think we're going to need to get more out of Gavalas if we want to get to the next level

Even if I'm the biggest star on the team, I'm sucking up to Gavalas because he has a really nice house in the Hamptons and I'd want to be invited for a weekend in the summer.

It appears our home game with UConn will not be made up, unless they get an unexpected opening.
They are booked for 2 games a week throughout, so unless they make them play 3 games in a week, they will not make the trip to Jamaica.

That's too bad about losing the UCONN home game, but it is what it is. Nice to be undefated against UCONN this year even if it's only one game is the way I'll choose to look at it

Did you see anything official? Teams play 3 days in a row in some pre season tournaments so 3 in a week seems doable especially since the two school are in close proximity to each other.

Nothing official, however the Big East did announce all teams would not be able to complete its conference schedule. UConn still has 3 games to make up on their already revised schedule. Their bye-weekends (Feb 13 and Feb 27) are booked, while we will be idle. Alot can happen with unexpected postponements, but it's quite logistical nightmare.
