saw the #sjubb tagged to one of Russ Smith's (Lville star / Molloy HS) posts. he commented on Peyton Siva's post regarding why kids opt NOT to play for their hometown school. Russ commented agreeing, and then pointed out that SJU "didn't even walk in the door and I played around the corner from them"..... goes onto say "prob would have gone there had they walked in"..... i am hoping that wouldnt have been the case.... but was interesting to hear that opinion..... CMON NORM! lol

That's a bit surprising since Norm worked at Molloy and was a recommendation of Jack Curran if I recall.
I do remember Smith went to South Kent also.

That's right I forgot about the quarantine.  Would be nice to have a big body in there, even for a few minutes at a time although  I don't  expect much as he's way behind in learning the offense and defense, but he's big and fast. If he can give us a little bit of shot blocking and depth, it would help.

It's good to see he developed a love of the game.  Better late than never.  Back when he was coming out of HS he was just tall and playing basketball.  He really didn't really have any drive.  Even after SJU he was forgotten and MIA for awhile.  He's seems to have found it later on.
