Joey DelaRosa

He's practicing. Coach made an announcement that he would practice through the appeal process as soon as they realized there could be an appeal.

Problem is they do not know what to appeal. My guess is their collective stupidity.

The annual SJU Compliance Department retreat at least will have a full agenda.

When Sanchez was finally approved, SJU had used a high powered law firm to "influence" the NCAA to grant the final year of eligibility. Has the SJU administration thought of using the same law firm in this case (ADL)? Thank you.

Big difference between the 2 situations. Sanchez was being looked upon to be an immediate contributor and would have been gone had he not been ruled eligible. ADL would have likely only provided a few MPG this year and still has 3 years of eligibility remaining. Also the school clearly knows way more than we do and maybe they don't feel they have a case.

Is there any chance at all that ADL will be eligible for the 2nd semester?

Thanks

Always a chance, but the question is when.

Also think it would be better to hold him for next yr. He kneed work not saying he does not have an upside if he loses wt and get in shape to be able to run up and down the court and ne being out of condition and be the last down

Sorry for the two spelling errors

No apology needed usg.

Say ADR is out rest of year and comes back next year. Does he come back as a soph eligibility wise? I'm confused on how that works

Sounds like staff is content to have him sit out this season knowing that he needs to get into better shape if he's going to contribute meaningful minutes.

Me thinks the staff would be making a smart move.

I'm assuming its like a prop 48 situation where he loses his first year of eligibility, but not sure.

I believe that JDR becomes eligible for the St. Mary's game. Despite being a limited ball player and having not played yet, I wonder if he could still be useful playing that day as backup to CO. I wouldn't be surprised if he saw some time in this game.

The staff is in a win mode now......if he can help us, suit him up!!

I'd like to see him activated too, if only to give CO some relief against bruiser types like Joshua Smith (350!) and Matt Stainbrook. But it ain't gonna happen.

Anyone know why Adonis was not on the bench today? He was in the lobby in street clothes hanging with friends after the game. He's a big dude, not hard to notice.

@NYPost_Brazille: No new news on eligibility status of Adonis DeLaRosa, per the school. #Sjubb

Bench doesn't have much room with 15 coaches and 12 walk-ons.
