Is Obekpa Next? No! He's staying!

He would be our PF in a four-guard offense if he can come up with a sick relative next season. Then we could be like Villanova just like Lavin says we can be. The 2005 version of course, but still Villanova. :lol:

But I'll have to settle for Carl Beckett, Malik Boothe and Adonis.

I'd settle for Eric Brooks, Jayson Williams and the Caldera twins about now. Oh yeah throw in Buzz Matthews he's a little older but could probably still score.

A 3-guard backcourt of Barkley, Claxton, and Erving Walker. Bitty backcourt.
 
Obekpa returning is beyond crucial for next season. Season would go from a no doubt horror show to one where, despite losing Sampson, a solid, NCAA type of season is definitely possible.

I really do believe that Jordan will make an incredible leap in his game.. 20ppg and 6-7 assists is possible.. Coupled with Harrison in backcourt, well, I'm not sure a better BE back court is out there..

I'm positive on Christian Jones as long as the fire is lit for him to grab some boards.. I think he can be a productive , low post offensive player.

Not sure what happened to Dom this season..He was awful...

This team couldn't make it with Sanchez and Sampson.
Bottom 5 finish is on the horizon.
 
What no,Jamal Faukner or Omar Calhoun.

As for,Obekpa, wouldn't surprise me for reasons i have stated in Sampson thread.

Really, already burying them? You don't think Jordan alone is going to make them better? The kid will be on of the best guards in the country.

Exactly... I'm taking into consideration improvement from the players already here. Jordan should improve immensely, as a result, that should help Harrison..

I mean, I guess you can continue to go the "sky is falling" route over and over again. I'm just trying to look at positives..

He may never be a star, but with his ability to block shots, he'll find his way to the end of some team's bench. Probably for a long time, too.

He won't block shots in the NBA
He's hardly big enough to be a power forward in the pros
He's too slow to guard NBA forwards and has no ability on the offensive end
