A bad back derailed Fred Lyson’s career as well.
...and yet Lou continued to play him over the more talented Rowan Barrett (which may be why we didn't get his legacy recruit-being facetious).
Brian Mahoney was the Coach. Lyson didn’t play his senior year because of his back.

Good catch. He was part of Mahoney's first recruiting class.

But Lou begat Mahoney so it is basically the same difference. ;) :)

At best Freddie made 1 out of every 4 outside shots (maybe affected by his bad back) but some people only acknowledged his makes and got overly excited by them.

He was a 0.374 3pt shooter. Better than 1 out of 4 but not spectacular.

Compared to every one else on those teams, that was a lights-out shooting percentage.

well .374 is closer to 1 out of 4 than 2 out of 4 by .001 so there's that. ;) :)

And Don Mattingly.
Now let's make that the last time Fred Lyson and Don Mattingly are ever associated with each other. LOL

I'm going to thank St. John's for attending the game as well. Schedule permitting, I'm fully behind someone from the staff attending every LuHi game.

He is going to be very disappointed

Mike Anderson said Ian Steere is a work in progress. Conditioning will be key once he’s eligible. Thinks he can provide some scoring punch #sjubb
