In Season Tidbits

If any college in the country has a shooting coach provide some tips and training procedures in the off season it should be SJU and it should be an annual assignment covering the complete roster.

Wait until Zaun sees that Holifield has a teammate who is listed at 7'2" 300 lbs and wonders why CMA is not recruiting D2.

In nine games, he has more fouls (5) than rebounds (4). He and I have the same amount of offensive rebounds this season.

Shout out to Paultz who I recall suggesting we should offer Zed. It was late, but still before he totally blew up.

Guess dinner out of question, serving “beef” :)

Last year I said I liked Earlington and I remember a couple of the "guys in the know " on this board telling me how wrong I was....positivity is infectious and important for our team....all the negative stuff posted here is read by most of the players and coaches....

Its funny about Earlington. When I saw him in the beginning of last year, I thought he was not a high major player, he had awful form. He looked like someone you dont want shooting any 3s . Now hes knocking them down w consistency, rebounding and using the glass well. He will be a valuable piece of the puzzle his jr and sr year.

This coming from someone who has yet to be right about anything.

From what you read about Steeres high school career and his size I think most of us were hoping for ten and eight. However those evaluations were strictly based on physical potential.
Hard to predict what he had between the ears.

Not only hard to predict, but hard to know. I had bosses who became mentors and friends and others who became tormentors and objects of scorn. Steere's not fitting in here when he committed to a different coach says nothing about what is between his ears. Different strokes for different folks.

And he absolutely should have. Can’t project attitude limitations
So it's Steere's fault that the Putzman was incorrect. What a bunch of losers.
It's really time to get over the bitterness of your man crush getting fired.
