If we don't get a bid?

We are in, i think Mullin has done a fair job in building the program, my only knock is lack of big men. But i really think we are jumping the gun, this team has done this all year answered the bell after bad loss that we have been most consistent with!

You're probably right, and that right there is some bs. Atleast shake up the coaching staff.
Otherwise it's 4 years of nothing, and still no coaching staff??? Then on May 1st I'll call for him to step the hell down. I'm sick of him not budging, after a nothing year.
Gotta keep him because he's the icon, even though we do nothing with him as coach "IF" we don't make it this year, even if we back in, that's not good enough. Atleast win one more game before selection Sunday, if not and we some how make it, then that's not good enough, then atleast win one in the ncaa tourny or bust.
I get it. Some people are going and just really want CM fired. So you’re setting expectations to a point to justify most likely scenarios.

I’ve said before that I would never favor CM being forcibly removed or fired. He’s earned the right to go on his own. I belief he would resign if he knew he had exhausted his abilities and the results proved to be unsatisfactory.

Having said that, despite the demeanor issues, halting recruiting, coaching lapses, etc it is undeniable that there has been certain yet slow improvement every year. The talent level albeit unbalanced is far and away better than it was and though not deep enough 1-5 at least on par with the other top teams in the conference.

It is ridiculous that on the verge of our first bid in a long time that the long knives come out. Let the season play out. I’m sure those
Of you who will be unsatisfied with any coach who does not produce a championship in his first few years will have plenty to criticize once the season ends, regardless of outcme.
Let the season play out? There's only 2 games left. PC X and DePaul are all similiar, we're 0-4 vs. them, and already lost to both at home. Lets see how we play at DePaul, we don't gotta wait long, tomorrow at noon, I'll be glued to the tv, hope they make me wrong and get a w.

We're getting bigs next year, to bad it's a year to late.

People crack me up, with the weak ooc schedule people were saying that we need a strong conf record. Now with two games to go at 8-8 people are saying that we're already in, even if we finish 8-10.
I'm still thinking that we need one more w

Yep we are very consistent. After every big W, and take a dump and get smacked too.

I'm not that comfident, I'll take the wait and see approach, until I see that we can beat this type of team.

Certainly need another recruiter and more college bb exp.

I would like to think we’ll beat DePaul tomorrow, but I doubt it even if Mustapha plays.
Hate to say it, but the best I think we’ll manage at this point is to go 1-3 over the next 4 games.
Not too impressive a finish.
Does an 8-10 BEC record and 21-12 overall get us in?
Probably?
Maybe.
Hoping for a 12 seed at this point.
Let’s go Johnnies.
IMO NCAA bid or not Mullin returns but I feel that accepting an NIT invitation could be a disaster. This team reminds me of Lavin's team that played Robert Morris at CA in the NIT which was the worst display of effort in CA's history.
Both that team and this year's team always played like they felt they were much better then they actually were and the NIT would be beneath them. Stay home if that situation arises.
+1000 Enright. That’s the one thing that really annoys me about this team. They think and play like are much better than they really are. Hence the reason why we have our poorest performances against our worst opponents. I understand matchups and all that but it’s more than that.
Take a step back from your respective ledges. We will beat DePaul and clinch a bid tomorrow

I don’t know how you can be so confident with how inconsistent this team has been. Especially the way they have played against the very physical teams in our conference. There’s a chance that Max Strus will look like Joe Harris winning the 3pt shooting contest tomorrow. I hope not , but wouldn’t suprise me if it did with this team.

Not giving up on 10-8 and certainly not giving up on 9-9, although we are very capable of 8-10 especially if Heron doesn't play.

I have a feeling we bounce back tomorrow - that is the way this team typically goes after a stinker. Looking for Shamorie to play well, Simon to be very disruptive defensively and Trimble to hit a few threes.
Lets go guys!

If this slide continues it may be time to thank mullin and say goodbye. Then call overseas and bring Pitino to jamaica

This has to be a parody lol

No it's coming from Dee. Pretty much expected

The best part is now Pitino as coach is quickly entering the top 5 most tired topics now with a locals tournament, bringing back the Redmen name, hating any uniform that isn't red or white and Marillac predictions

Haha that’s a good idea, listing out all of the over used topics on redmen. Here’s a few more

1) calls for mullin to get an “X’s And O’s” assistant

2) the refs hate us

3) player (x) is not playing well so he most definitely has an undisclosed injury

4) “look at Villanova they are so great, why are we not like Villanova”

5) lastly, there is an anonymous poster who I will not name that seems to repeatedly bring up a drink called a “Bronx pale ale” ;)
