Homeland And All Things Maher

In reference to the title of this thread Homeland is having a really nice final season focusing on Carrie and saul and I'll be sorry to see it go. Also liking Plot Against America.

Is that based on the Philip Roth book? Great book. I'll search for the Series.

I hate that new president and that advisor ( not the law and order guy ) the guy thats been on the last couple episodes

Not in the suspense edge of the seat way just in watching things develop way

For fans of Dune, there is a new remake coming out, so far still on track, for December. I'm a big fan of the original David Lynch version, warts and all, even though Lynch was embarrassed by it. (the author, Frank Herbert liked it) It is one of the few films that I rewatch. And if I'm in the mood and if for some insane reason I want to make my wife mad, I put it on. She violently hates it...

This new one looks like a legitimate version with good actors like Javier Bardem:

My wife is disgusted that I know that means, the housekeeper Linda Hunt's best role was in "The Year of Living Dangerously"

Be grateful. I describe she who must be obeyed as quintilingual (French, German, Italian, Romanian, and a little English, and she understands Spanish) so not only am I viewed as the non-reader but whatever she is reading is likely to be in a language I don't comprehend. Our DVR is full of films about depressed French women. Stay safe.

Love it. Best thing on Disney+ and best thing in the Star Wars universe in a long time.

This is probably sacrilegious to many, but I'm starting to think that "Better Call Saul" is better than "Breaking Bad."
Didn’t like the ending to plot against America at all
OTOH Homeland is going out on a high note leaving one wanting more.
