Is it just me but I thought there would be more recruiting activity with a verbal by someone by now. Staff had to know for months what was going to happen . Thought coach and Richmond would have immediately been hitting the recruiting trail. We need something positive to give the fan base a boost and we need it soon
 
Sure. Let’s hire Pitino and he can pay players to come to St. John’s, and get hookers for all the recruits and we can all pretend, like rick, that it never happened. Ugh. I’d rather us join the MAAC.

I think the only thing that could hold up Pitino's hire is the administration not wanting to lose the monster recruiting class coming in and to ensure that Ponds, Owens, Yakwe and Trimble don't leave by being threatened for playing time by the new recruits.

Okay, if he wants to pay the players let him. As long as he doesn’t get caught then it’s whatever. We all heard Sean miller on the tapes and Zona is sticking with him, we all know Calipari slips in money here and there, and we all know coach K didn’t get the top 3 recruits in the same year out of kindnesses. If he pays let him pay.

You guys need to stop playing the moral high ground and get real. We have MSG, a name brand university in a name branded conference, good alumni in great positions and we’re still in the Big East basement. If Rick can turn it around, LET HIM.

I’m tired of losing.

What's most shocking to me on here is that some want to win so badly, they're willing to bring in a coach who they know will cheat but they don't care. Even if we end up with the death penalty. I don't even know what to say.
