So you think St. John's was wrong in both instances? Just asking.
Just posting a funny picture from our last brawl.
Got ya. I am just in bad mood. I apologize...lol
C'mon, gents...how did this not get more love?"N'diaye's been begging me for a start so I said, eff it, why not?"Lav post game synopsis;
"These are valuable teaching moments"
"We are about where we need to be"
"Our walk ons & janitorial staff deserved to play. Working hard"
"GT is extremely hard to beat if your 6'4 walk on can't get physical with their 350 pound seven footers"
I love eating my lunch there.or want to run out of the arena early to jump in front of trafficIf you're going to the Nova game next week, be sure to wear your sneakers. There's a good chance you might play!
8th Avenue by the Post Office is a good location, don't you think?
I would go the 7th ave route, the lights and the traffic tend to be worse on 8th.
Funny to me how you pick Hooper, who never plays, as your whipping boy. Real relevant to the team's demise. No comments on the guys you have seen play?
Actually Logen, it is not funny that so many StJohn's posters bought into the fantasy that Hooper would get significant playing time this season despite the fact there was absolutely no reason to believe he was a Big East player.
I am told that Hooper is a good kid who plays hard in practice so given his size and wing span it is possible to believe that he develops into a serviceable substitute but unfortunately posters on this site (perhaps you) put unfair expectations on him
Capisce?
No, not in the least. You seem to be an intelligent person but you have decided without seeing the kid play that he can't play. When I see him I see a kid that can stroke and knows how to move the ball without aimlessly dribbling; two attributes we are sorely lacking. I have not seen him get abused on defense. So me, I would like to see the kid get some extended minutes to SEE he can play in the BE. You see, I know the limitations of what we put on the court, a handful of selfish one on one players who don't seem concerned with putting in the effort on the things that win basketball games. So I think I would like to see if Hooper can add dimensions we are sorley lacking. Understand, I like to see players play before I form an opinion; obviously you are some kind of basketball whisperer who KNOWS without ever having to bother seeing someone on the court. You see it is not the best five players that win necessarily, it is the best team. Capisce?
Hooper to me seems like the kind of shooter that routinely burns St. John's for 4 3's every game.
Hey, I'm trying to keep it light in here.

I think we're all in a bad mood right now. :angry:
Lavin will probably start Borgeault next game.these announcers are kidding themselves if they think this means Hooper will get any PT going forward
