G'Town game

I hate Georgetown. St. John's needs to look in mirror and remember this game. They killed them on court and then continued to push them around while the refs let it happen.

If you're going to the Nova game next week, be sure to wear your sneakers. There's a good chance you might play!
or want to run out of the arena early to jump in front of traffic

8th Avenue by the Post Office is a good location, don't you think?
I love eating my lunch there.

I would go the 7th ave route, the lights and the traffic tend to be worse on 8th.

Funny to me how you pick Hooper, who never plays, as your whipping boy. Real relevant to the team's demise. No comments on the guys you have seen play?

Actually Logen, it is not funny that so many StJohn's posters bought into the fantasy that Hooper would get significant playing time this season despite the fact there was absolutely no reason to believe he was a Big East player.

I am told that Hooper is a good kid who plays hard in practice so given his size and wing span it is possible to believe that he develops into a serviceable substitute but unfortunately posters on this site (perhaps you) put unfair expectations on him

Capisce?

No, not in the least. You seem to be an intelligent person but you have decided without seeing the kid play that he can't play. When I see him I see a kid that can stroke and knows how to move the ball without aimlessly dribbling; two attributes we are sorely lacking. I have not seen him get abused on defense. So me, I would like to see the kid get some extended minutes to SEE he can play in the BE. You see, I know the limitations of what we put on the court, a handful of selfish one on one players who don't seem concerned with putting in the effort on the things that win basketball games. So I think I would like to see if Hooper can add dimensions we are sorley lacking. Understand, I like to see players play before I form an opinion; obviously you are some kind of basketball whisperer who KNOWS without ever having to bother seeing someone on the court. You see it is not the best five players that win necessarily, it is the best team. Capisce?

Hooper to me seems like the kind of shooter that routinely burns St. John's for 4 3's every game.

This game was so bad the Pope has to be concerned about the direction of the catholic church in New York
