Georgetown (MSG), Sat., Mar. 9, 12 Noon, FOX

Don't forget his defense on Epps. Luis made him invisible down the stretch.
Maybe all that lottery pick talk wasn't so crazy after all lol. Let's also give Rick credit for giving Luis just enough of a leash(but not too much) to give him the confidence to play fearlessly.

Rick as also gotten very good at knowing exactly when to sit him. And if that means sitting him for much of the game when he's having an off day, so be it.

Different hero every game: Today it was Luis. Last game it was Dingle. Game before it was Taylor. Of course Daniss is a hero every game.

Too late my dear Monte you've already burnt him at the stake. 😜;):)

I just believe RJ deserves credit for today on both ends. I also think posters including me go to extremes in judging him.

I don’t believe he has earned stud status but he certainly has ability. Perhaps the truth lies in the middle and w hard work and more consistency he could be a good player here. I certainly prefer that. Hope he shows that consistency & is a good piece for SJ next year.

You're forgiven 😇;):)

Just finished watching the DVR of the game after golf this morning. Had friends and family texting me, but did not look. Honestly, reading this message board kept me sane throughout the game. After the early lead, I thought the team got tight as Georgetown kept it close. Great job by Jenkins, Luis, Ledlum, Soriano and Dingle, among others, to bring home the win.

When I got home from golf, I immediately changed into the same shirt that is 5-0 on this run. It will be ready to go for the BET!!

I don’t feel the need to apologize for criticizing him often. He deserved it. But today he played very well and saved our season.

I just got off the train. Went to a bar to watch the end of the Villanova game. At this point don't really care who wins. We survived today and that was enough for me. Need to refuel the tank and get ready for the BET.

Real highlight of the game was meeting even more Red.Fans posters. Buckethardy, Kranmars to name a couple. The real honor was meeting the General. It was like meeting a dignitary. What an honor.

Georgetown came ready to play today. You can tell they wanted to spoil our NCAA hopes. Coach Cooley will have that program back at the top before you know it. Despite terrible FT% and some moments of bad decisions with the ball, they closed out! We lose this game by 12 pts 1 month ago.

We are one win away from dancing!

Disagree. If Providence wins today and then gets the 5 seed and beats SH then they look better than us. Lots of other bubbly type teams can go on runs and beat high ranked teams which would propel them past us.
If Providence wins today AND beats SH they deserve a bid but that just may be the Big East gets another team into the tournament.
Our SOS is very hard to deny.

Not a great effort, but we'll certainly take the win. The crowd was outstanding over the final 10 minutes of the game.

My only complaint with Rick is not playing Wilcher. That kid is ready now. When Dingle's shot was off, he should have went to Wilcher.
