Why does the BE keep scheduling SJU Sunday games at 7 pm? I suppose it's driven by FOX. Thing is, I persuaded my wife to make the trip up for the game tomorrow on the condition we hit the Blue Note in the Village for their jazz brunch at 1:30 pm. Unfortunately, our neighbor isn't available to let the dog out, and his limit is 12 hours. Then again, mine's only 2. Guess I'll have to watch this one on the tube, too.

This supports my assertion that when Lubick was tumbling out of bounds last season, he deliberately grabbed Branch to break his fall, injuring Branch's knee.
I don't see the irony. Classic G'town been that way for decades. Pointer has lost control on a couple of occasions but I don't see him taking cheap shots or being sneaky. Some teams will focus on one particular player. Little shots consistent throughout a game and maybe they do something stupid like Pointer at ND. Marquette tried to do it to Sanchez but he didn't bite. Watch that game and you'll see a player slap him on the chest or elsewhere each trip.
