Georgetown- Game 2

The win clearly influenced by the white uniforms and Dom's 'fro.

Seven 3s in the half for Xavier.
Their back is up against the wall and they are fighting as well for NCAA.
As long as we make it, I'm fine if they do too

Kudos to our seniors, and Obekpa and Jordan. Love our fast break after every rebound. There's no stopping us now and that means Villanova as well.
Not trying to be negative but could Obekpa and Harrison use some common sense in committing fouls. D'LO reaching and picking up his second foul early in the game. Chris has to control himself after any tussle, avoiding the foolish taunting fouls. Having both of them out of the game is not good for my health.

I hope Xavier loses in triple OT. I don't want Nova looking to kill us.

Fox halftime show had announcer saying Dom looking like 1st round draft pick.

1. Very measured and controlled today. We shot very well, drove the lane well, took care of the ball and were patient at all the right times.

2. If someone told me beforehand that D'Lo would score only 1 and we would still win easily, I would have called the DEA.

3. Hope Branch is okay. He was on a roll until his injury.

4. Hoyas got SYRACUSED by Phil Greene IV. He has been much maligned, sometimes unfairly, but what a game he had today. Take a bow young man.

5. Repeating myself, but there are a whole bunch of tourney-bound teams that would go "Aw Crap" if they pull us on selection Sunday.

Extra proud to be a Redman today.

Packed house . A resume building w. Very happy for the seniors. Greene is having a very nice season. I give him and Dom co Mvps of the game. I don't know what happened to DLO today, seems to play poorly against GT. Branch was very productive. Lavin should have played him more when DLOs calf was really hobbling him. I'm worried about Branches injury . Too thin and not big on Felix. Let's get Marquette and start focusing on our seeding.

Great win! Neutralizing Smith was huge. And it's so satisfying to silence those elitist G'town fans.

I live in the DC area, so this is doubly sweet. Since they trash us every year down here. Elitist is an accurate description of them. It was a strange feeling to watch us be in complete control the entire game. Really no Hoya runs, great job SJU!

Taking 32 foul shots winning hoops. Dedication getting to the rim makes the offense look smooth and well coached. No one can get run outs against us when we play like today. Very few long rebounds.

Fun, fun game to attend.

Fun stat of the day:
Rebounding: 46 for Gtown, 39 for SJU. That's pretty good with the team playing so small for much of the game.

Secondary fun stat of the day: SJU's 32 free throw attempts vs. Gtown's 19.

Only 7 turnovers for us; that's great especially when you consider the 7 steals and 8 blocks.

I think the answer is no, but I forgot to DVR the game. There is no way to watch a replay, correct (without risking getting a computer virus)?

Secondary question - what recruits did we have at the game?

Thanks in advance.

Probably not and the kid from out west

That unsourced avg in conference. I think they said we are -7 on the boards in BE play
