Georgetown 1st Game

Jordan is an enigma. 3 points, 3 TOs & 1 assist. He can be lights out one game & disappear the next. Inconsistent player.

lets be honest. we were screwed the moment greg bodkins dog wouldn't make a prediction for tonights game

I have no interest in bashing SL's coaching after this game.
He didn't help matters, but he didn't make them worse. Our guys are hurt and not playing well. Not his fault.

BUT, the big difference between us and Georgetown is that when they go to their bench they bring in Hopkins and White, and we bring in Felix and Amar. Their bench is far more talented.
Their freshmen Leak,White, and Copeland are all contributors.

We have no depth, and last year's recruiting results are a big reason why. I like Felix, Amar, and Joey but we needed stronger reinforcements.

Wake me up when we hire a real coach and not a used car salesmen
can't blame Lavin when we are turning the ball over and DLO and Sheed can't make a shot.

Hope sheed gets it out of his head about going pro

One word. Barkley.

Barkley was chased out by the NCAA. Are you implying Sheed has similar issues? If you're saying can't talk sense into some folk I would say Omar is a batter analogy.

No , I am saying that Sheed, like Barkley, is over estimating his talent and needs to be taken down a notch so he doesn't completely ruin his life by listening to the "hanger on'ers" who want to "feed" off of him.

In which case I reiterate that Omar is a better analogy. I think if the NCAA wasn't up Barkley's butt constantly he might have stayed around longer.

Whatever the severity of the injuries to CO and D-Lo are, the training staff must feel like they can't exacerbate the injuries any further by playing otherwise why would Lavin have played as late as he did in a game that they clearly weren't going to win?

In particular Thomas debacle really hurts us.

Other than the game he left because of the mysterious leg injury, this is the most disappointed I have been in his play

OK, Austour, I'm a lover not a fighter. You win. I lose. Game over. Let's watch the rest of the game in peace. God bless you.

That's why I think he will be back next year. CO also.

Pretty funny. You don't want to bash SL, but, and a big BUT, you do.

Recently, Sheed looked like he was going to be playing in Nirvana (aka the NBA ) next season. After tonight, it looks more like he'll be in Utopia (aka the Parkway).
