Georgetown 1st Game

Knowing how thin we are up front, is it better to sit Obekpa Saturday if still hobbling? We need him going down stretch & I think we can handle SH without him.
 
There is nothing LAVIN can do with no Harrison, half of Obekpa, and the Georgetown inside game. Throw in a few late Hoya 3's and weak point play from Jordan.......
Just an overall horrid game

It's not just a bad game. It's a combination of D-Lo and CO not being healthy and Georgetown is just a horrible match up for us. Seton Hall is going to be an incredibly tough game for us if CO and D-Lo are not healthy. Mobley and Delgado are not ham and eggers, they can play.

Frankly, I don't believe they're a bad matchup for us. I have a feeling we take care of them in 2 weeks. I do believe Harrison's and Obekpa's injuries are killing us right now.
 
I agree. Take CO out, put ice on his ankle and get him ready for SH? DLO can't hit the broad side of a barn today. Take him out also.

Barkley was chased out by the NCAA. Are you implying Sheed has similar issues? If you're saying can't talk sense into some folk I would say Omar is a batter analogy.

Harrison is showing hurt tonight. He has carried this team so much. He is not to blame. Others need to step up and protect him as he has protected them. This is a team sport.

Harrison looking better on that drive. Never really played well against GT for some reason.

No , I am saying that Sheed, like Barkley, is over estimating his talent and needs to be taken down a notch so he doesn't completely ruin his life by listening to the "hanger on'ers" who want to "feed" off of him.

In addition to basically being forced to leave, he was a 1st round pick. If you are going to be a 1st round pick go. Jordan will not be a first round pick. Totally different situations.

They were off but did not quit. I'm hoping Dlo and CO get close to healthy. I feel this team can bury a stinker. The seniors very capable of rounding the guys up a squeezing out the wins they need. A while back I didn't feel that way. Ali playing like I never thought he would.
