I surely noticed it.  And that we did it to him probably bothered him even more.

What I also noticed about our kids: they clapped normally, pounded fists, and then walked off the F'ing court like the outcome was exactly what they KNEW it would be.

Any Reason we didn't see much of Cole ? Don't recall him in the 2 Nd half at all . Not complaining just wondering .

Think it was just a matter of other players playing well and we really didn't need offense as much as D and rebounding after he came out of the game. Maybe next game will be his night.

Exactly, Anderson has a core group he relies on down the stretch and has no problem leaving the guys who are doing the job on the floor.

Was just texting with Dinkins. This turnaround is reminding me of Lavin's first year turnaround

Was not happy when we had a line up of 1 starter and 4 bench players nor when Julian was out and the Friars were mounting a comeback.
but those are teaching moments that will pay off down the road. The starters and the bench reflect the demeanour of their coach and did not get rattled. They were calm, cool and collected and took every punch to the chin , on the road may I add, and continued their business. This team really continues to grow under CMA. Their up tempo offence and pressure is really fun to watch.
kids who are watching this team must like what they see and feel the buzz.

And I love how they withstood the Providence comeback and remaiined calm, cool and collected.
This cannot be understated as our group has shown the ability to fight through adversity during games.  That type of stuff doesn't show up on stat sheets.

They have shown they're a resilient bunch, and that's the type of personality needed during tournament play.
Totally agree.   This is a mentally tough team.  They are still inexperienced but they have shown several times now that they can take a punch to the mouth, get up off the deck and return the favor.  Easy group of kids to root for.

Best Dunn stat of possibly his best game as Johnny; 1 personal foul(in 33 minutes of hard nosed ball). Kid is a winner.

Four conference wins in a row, first time since our Elite 8 1998-99 team.

Not to doubt you espken, given your long track record, but didn't we win six straight conference games in February 2014 ?

Did any of y'all noticed Cooley's gait while leaving the court?  That's the walk of someone who is ticked.  His ball club might be running wind sprints and gasses right about now, lol.
I di dnotice that. And I wondered too if he had acknowedged CMA at all after the game. I know the coaches usually wave to each other, or in some instances actually come over and shake hands and/or hug, the way Wright did after the Nova game.

MJ....you’ve been to Threes Brewing in Huntington Village yet? Great beer there.

Full disclosure, I was out enjoying the warmth and snow with my kids but coming in and seeing we beat Providence is great. I feel like we haven’t beaten these guys since Cooley became the coach.

This is the first season I can remember being confident when the T. John's player goes to shoot foul shots.

Monte they are all winners. Every player to a man has continued to improve under CMA and accept his role. At times I am shocked as to how much more under control players like Moore and the Duke are. Instead of always looking for their shots they play good D, board and for the most part play an offensive role that best suits their skill set. Much fewer ill advised shots on each of their parts. The growth and maturity is just wonderful to watch.

Feel like I'm dreaming and haven't woken up in weeks. To think where we were at 1-5 in conference, to now looking like a team that can beat anyone... it's a stunning turnaround
Amazing...starts with CMA...never panics and the guys follow suit...today when Providence came back from the early lead, CMA showed no panic let alone anger,,,at one point, he actually had a bit of a smirk and just kept encouraging the kids.
