Fordham, Mon., Nov. 4, 6:30p, FS-1

Can't confirm, but it would be justified.

He kicked the ball into the stands.
It was silly. Understood the frustration, but hopefully he reigns that in, because the kid can flat out play.

Was impressed with the unselfishness of the group and the balance.

Pitino's going to work his magic to convince Zuby that every defensive rebound should be treated the same as offensive rebounds, lol. Happy how the other bigs looked.

Actually thought the defense in the first half was pretty good, but that transfer kid from UNLV just hit a few bonkers shots.

When you can’t fully enjoy an opening night 33 point win…
I’m fully enjoying it, and I think we’re in for a really big year. As it relates to RJ, it’s just an obvious fly in the ointment. I don’t recall another player kicking a ball into the stands. Just speaks to judgment. That’s the main issue with him (for me) from last year. This bunch can be very good dies not need unnecessary or stupid distractions. .

Maybe RJ not getting enough NIL and was auditioning for place kicker for either the Jets or the Giants lord knows they could both use a kicker.

I don’t see RJ kicking the ball in the stands as a bad attitude. I see it as him being frustrated and wanting to have a great start to the season. In terms of him being suspended, this is the type of “rumor” that throws fuels on the unnecessary fire.

He basically did it in front of me. Really great athletic kick. I don't think it was premeditated and i don't think he intended it to go that far. As soonas it sailed , he oretty much knew what a bad move it was.

It's a big nothingburger. We were up 30. It won't happen again.

Well said RMW

RJ still looks like he wants to stuff the stat sheet.
I think he was just frustrated with the quick fouls. However, second game in a row Zuby was colossal disappointment against players he was supposed to dominate. Big question mark there.

Someone at CA texted me before the game and said to me "I'm not quite sure why, but Luis is practicing FG kicks in warm ups". So I'm pretty sure it was premeditated.

But you do see it as unacceptable right?

It’s not hate? Zuby had a horrific game, out of position defensively, didn’t rebound at all against a smaller/weaker opponent, couldn’t score in close and generally looked out of it yet no one says anything. RJ’s second foul was a bogus call, after he just hit two threes and the RJ haters were on fire, just waiting for any sort of mistake. Go back and reread the posts if you don’t believe me.
Zuby didn’t play horrifically. He was really good on the perimeter hedging and picking up smaller players and he had a nice take to the rim. The rebounding needs work.
