Orlando's versatility and Obekpa knocking down clutch FTs!

Yes, yes and yes.

You're not gonna have anything left in the tank throughout the regular season, Alum. lol

I love seeing the player development. The core are Juniors now. Time to make the proverbial "jump".

And we're doing this without Rysheed.

I can't help but being pumped.

Actually, I'm also pumped. Felt like I was watching the game by following these tweets. lol

I'd love for our group to sweep through these games. Good job by our bunch.

I know that Rysheed is going to get the lions share of minutes at the 1 but in the event that we didn't sign him, I hadn't given up on Branch's ability to run this team when healthy. He is not far removed from being a Top 50 recruit in his graduating class. I'm excited for the potential of seeing Rysheed, Branch and Harrison on the floor together for some stretches.

Much reason to be even a little bit excited to see them tough it out against an experienced team this after taking an 8-hour cross seas flight the night before.

Branch may be coming into his own, just has to stay healthy.

Lions share?

I agree with you about the potential success of that three guard lineup.

So it sounds like we have a real 3 pt shooter who isn't just good in practice or with no one within 100 yards? Time to shut it down guys...it's the apocalypse. From what it sounds like, our performance couldn't have been much better. By the way, remember Lavin said Branch clearly stood out as making huge leaps and his assertion is now backed by a 22 pt performance. Shows that he has an eye for that kind of thing and he's not just giving lip service.

Jerseys were awesome, shorts a little ugly. Anyway, let's hope there's video somewhere. Can't imagine there isn't.

A positive day no matter how early it is. I liked the starting lineup (Branch, Dee, Dom, Sampson, Sanchez) on a number of fronts. One, it's a lineup many predicted so it's nice too see things going somewhat according to plan - even early - and that the guys you expect to be part of the core group have performed that way this summer. Two, love seeing Dee in there (and having a good game). It's important that this season start with a clean slate for everyone so that there is a clean break from last year, and him getting the nod in the very first exhibition game is proof of that being the case.

I certainly hope Hooper is a guy that can shoot on the move and off screens. But with the dribble penetration potential of this team, there may very well be room for a guy who can stretch the floor just by making people pay for helping off of him (especially because he's long and can shoot over the top, if his video clips paint an accurate picture). This is very premature just based on today, but every step he takes towards being that guy is a big step for this team.

The added 3 point threat element to this team (Hooper) along with the big rebounding (Sanchez), playmaking ability of Jordan, along with the resurgence of Harrison and Branch leaves no room for excuses this year provided they are healthy.
