Johnson is one of the best and he yells for both teams when both teams make plays. Unfortunately we haven't made one in a while. Need to keep our poise and understand we are right in the game.

IMO, the lack of depth wasn't an issue. Harrison's no-show is or was the issue.

You don't think them having subs is a bit of an advantage?

Amazing how an "inadvertent whistle" happens right before we have a lay-up. Is there a grassy knoll at MSG?

The open three he missed at about the 4 or 5 minute mark was huge. He usually hits that in his sleep.

Harrison probably should not be playing; not because he is going to get hurt more but because calf injuries are very, very difficult to play with; in most sports but especially basketball your legs are everything. He just can't play with any effectiveness. Great effort by the team, but again, we just cannot close out games; our experience counts for nothing. While bummed, props go to Obepka IMO, he played a very good game against Okafor.

Nope and nope. My opinion.

Don't get me wrong.... Having subs are certainly beneficial. But I've seen enough teams, and a few St. John's teams that weren't deep, but found ways to prevail for the most part. Lack of depth has hurt us a few times, this season. But not today.

We got nothing from Harrison for the most part, and that is where we practically lost the game, IMO. Shots he'd usually hit were misses. Changed the complexion in my mind.
 
This one hurts. WE had this one and we ran out of steam. The "inadvertent" whistle killed us too, along with a couple of favorable foul calls around the same time.

I had to shut it off, I can't watch them celebrate.
