But, honestly this is a coaching adjustment Duarte has been eating Pinzon alive all game, he should have switched Jones or Wusu on him.

These games are obviously glorified scrimmages, but what I’ve seen from these games does not make me optimistic for a successful season. Curbelo is very disappointing and shooting will be a problem. I continue to have concerns about rebounding and three point defense as well.

Also, this was the national team that we were playing. Most of these guys have probably played together for 6 or 7 years. It would make sense that they would be more cohesive than us.

Not an impressive trip overall by the team. I had them a lock for the NCAAs but Im going to temper that expectation. This team is a long ways away from that.

Three point defense, defensive rebounding and outside shooting still look like a challenge for us. Thankfully staff has almost 3 months to work on it. Up to them to make it happen, especially the first two.
