That was worse than the RJ kick ball.

I get it though kids will be kids.

If he tried that some other time / place Taliek would have dropped him

Red Storm light up Vice TV

Parts of the Article

The original plan for “Pitino: Red Storm Rising” was a tidy six-episode arc ending on Selection Sunday.

“We wanted to be as the last moment in that episode the team sitting down with the coach, finding out where they were going to be seeded,” Vice TV president Peter Gaffney told Newsday.

Sometimes plans change, though, especially when the planner-in-chief is Rick Pitino.

As the St. John’s men’s basketball team has risen to the top of the Big East and into the national Top 10, Selection Sunday has evolved from the uncertainty of last season into what could be a mere launching point in 2025.

“We’re looking into potentially ordering additional episodes,” Gaffney said. “We want to follow them through this run and see where he can take the team.”

Tom Farrell, CEO of The WorkShop Content Studios, which is producing the series, said, “Absolutely, the expectation is to follow this team deep into March.”

anyone have any questions about the docu-series or things they wanna know? interviewing the creator tonight
It seems the last episode will air prior to the NCAA Tournament. Are we to assume the team won’t be covered by Vice during March Madness?

Hi Dave, thanks for asking for our input. Two questions:

1) Is this a one season only ordeal, or would they potentially continue the series next year as it seems there is good feedback?

2) It was mentioned that Vice provides NIL money. If they get their wish of following the team until the end of the season, does the NIL go towards the current players or to the school to decide when and how to use the money?

Thanks for doing this.

1) What surprised them the most?
2) What are some moments of the doc that didn't make the cut that he most wishes saw the light of day? Will there be any bonus clips being released after the series?
3) Will this be an annual series with STJ, or Vice following different college teams each year?

Good questions, will definitely get the first one, as far as Vice and NIL - so the gentleman I'm interviewing is the creator of the doc, Vice is the platform and team that's promoting it. Don't think he's affiliated with Vice and I dont' think he could comment on the NIL thing, but I will ask prior to and see if that would be a question he could answer.

Hit the portion in red and takes you to an earlier post about extending the series.

I stopped buying DVD’s, but I would buy a box set of this if it was ever available.
