I don't think I've seen something like this for a non conference game of such little significance in Queens maybe ever? Between the holiday break, it being on a Saturday, the team being good, and to a lesser extent the Coming to America promo, the fact that tickets in basically the last row on the secondary market are going to crazy prices is very odd.

Ultimately it means there is demand and we're good, so that is a good thing. Just crazy
I’ve mentioned this before- I dunno- somethings weird… for Bryant / DePaul / Harvard- tickets going for single digits…

when I put the games I couldn’t make up for sale- the Delaware ones were the first to go within a week of posting… (pissed now that I see the price of them lol)…

I wouldn’t be shocked if there is a pretty big Delaware contingent there…

Around 7 walked around Milleridge village and saw a car with a Delaware blue hens around license plate! Go figure!

I guess but a lot in life depends on your perspective and as Forrest would say that's all I have to say about that.
Beneath you Beast.
Chris Rock was asked last year about doing those high paying, private comedy gigs, often for corporations.

They usually want to see a script of your jokes for their review so they can edit them out. When ask what he does when asked to remove an offensive joke, he paused, then smiled and said, "That's the first one I tell!"

Again no offense.

Maybe there's some truth to the rumor that Charlie Murphy will make an appearance.

Heard the half time show will include Sexual Chocolate

Eddie Murphy Randy Watson GIF by Coming to America

Delaware is one of the top out of state public college choices for area residents.
I have one Blue Hen a senior and a recently graduated Terrapin.

Like the poster Delaware said, Football is popular among some alumni ( the school is moving up from FCS to FBS next season in Conference USA which you could argue isn't much of a change). Lacrosse has gotten better recently and there is a lot of alumni support for that.

As far as I know there is minimal support for the basketball program. I would not expect many Blue Hens fans at the game.

Tonight's game pays tribute to the 66-59 St. John's win over Marist in the ECAC Holiday Festival Semi-Finals in 1987.''We'll savor this one for at least 12 hours'' said Lou Carnesecca. ''After that, it's back to the gym to figure out a way to stop Manning.''

Shelton Jones had 15 pts in the win. Rik Smits in front of a ton of NBA scouts had all 24 of his points in the 2nd half. Boo Harvey and Michael Porter combined for 19 points and 14 assists on the night.

St. John's would go on to beat the Kansas Jayhawks, 70-56 to win the holiday festival. When Larry Brown was asked to explain what had happened, he said, ''How are you going to beat them here?'' Shelton Jones was voted the MVP and referred to the Garden as ''our house.''

Rough night for KU as they lost senior Archie Marshall for the season due to a knee injury in the first half.
Larry was upset we got a favorable whistle as we went to the free throw line 49 times to their 31.

We had just lost to Kansas a few weeks prior at Allen Field House where the refs were more to his liking. Anyway a great win for our Johnnies as the Jayhawks won the championship that year behind ‘Danny and the Miracles.’

what is going on with this game... thought i wouldnt be here this weekend- so sold this game two months ago (yes- Delaware tickets sold 2 months ago lol).... now that im here- thought this would be a nice empty game to bring the kids to... cheapest i see on the sites is 80$/ticket (for 4 together).... Tickets for Bryant were literally 2$ on Stub... sellout on Ticketmaster...

am i missing something? does Delaware have a big LI base?
This actually had me thinking. Can anyone recall a team we've played at CA that brought out a sizeable fan representation? Id actually be curious to hear, because I've always been under the impression opposing fans so not show up to games at CA.
