Great job of doing what we should vs. Delaware.
If Kadary was hurt then why did he play 28 minutes?
Could have giving Glover and Prey more minutes but whatever.
Great game from Smith, almost a triple double.

Now the real fun begins, biggest game since the Baylor for me, and I don't care if Creighton isn't as good as expected.
They're always tough at home.

He is a senior who averaged < 2 points per game in his 1st 3 seasons at higher levels. Was shooting 37% from 3 prior to this game

To add, has one more year of eligibility and is a redshirt junior eligibility wise after being injured his freshman at Memphis Stare (played two games).

He played the last two years at Va Tech. The 35 points he scored is a career high and he tied Delaware’s record for the most threes made in a game. His previous high was 30 points in a win over Yale earlier this season.

It is never going to happen, but starting lineup should be our clear best four of Zuby, Luis , Smith and Wilcher with Scott as the glue guy.

Richmond should be 6th man. With a second unit of Vince, Prey and Glover. He is a good passer and could get those guys good shots particularly Vince and Prey down low. Plus Vince back there to cover when he lets his man go by him, without worrying about Zuby getting fouls.

Obviously, St John's is spending way too much money on players and HOF coaches, when some of the guys on this board are much more qualified and would do it for a fraction of the cost. Obviously, feeling the burden, they let us know about every missed play and remind us that X. X. sucks, at every opportunity. Oh and the coach, some guys even have a chubby for him too, questioning every substitution and second-guessing every starting lineup. Sometimes I kid myself that these St John's fans are actually Seton Hall plants who know that recruits read these boards and want them to think that St John's fans are so negative that they even find fault with the players and coaches when their team is 11-2. Of course I know that they are real fans who have only gotten through the past few decades of losing by trolling kids and coaches who can't defend themselves. Old habits are hard to break.

Would be more concerned that HOF coach took 3 quality transfers over last 2 years and made them much worse.
Rick has been uneven in his year and half.

He's not now, nor is he ever going to be, a great shooter or defensive player. To try to turn him into that was a mistake by the staff.

But, I think you're the first guy to ever ridicule a player for making layups. Congratulations.

BTW, he had 7 assists against just 1 turnover, so he did contribute.
I watched the game. I've watched almost every minute of every game, either live or television.

Objectively stating he had four layups and a jumper is hardly ridicule. the other FG attempts weren't even close. Objectively, we are getting a fraction of the KR we thought we were getting. His minutes would be better served to Glover, subjectively stated.

So a fifth year, first team BE player should get his PT taken by a true freshman who is playing more because of Brady's injury?
