Pitino's approach with this team (and last year's) is really very transactional. He has his favorites. They play and mostly get to play thru mistakes.

Everyone else gets coached very hard. And if you're in that group the only way you get out of it is to take a licking and keep on ticking until the coach is satisfied that you're tough enough to produce not matter what he throws at you.

Wilcher survived that. Not sure about Dunlap. They like Glover because they are satisfied with his toughness.

But you can lose some valuable players that way too. Concerned about Scott who I think is an essential piece for this team and who really needed to get run tonight and get untracked and it didn't happen for him (he got some PT but the rest didn't happen).

He might be dinged, I dunno.
Didn’t get to see any of the game but also starting to get concerned about Scott seeing his stats.

We won handily I guess. We didn’t cover the spread so I’m not sure this game helps our metrics any. How do we let that Camden kid shoot 9/11 from three??? Scott’s situation is concerning to say the least. Kadary still not playing like last year. Let’s see if they can beat Creighton on the road.

None of our teams have defended the 3 point shot well under, Mullin, Anderson or Pitino.

I believe that Pitino stated that his players would not participate in hand shake lines anymore to avoid confrontations.
