D'Angelo Harrison

If Harrison ends up having incredible season. And all of you love him again, I will dig up your Harrison hate posts from the past, that is all

Why? The "hate" (as you call it) was justified; just as the "love" will be if Harrison has matured and flies right. All it means is that Lavin's treatment of the situation was the correct one and Harrison was intelligent enough and courageous enough to see the error of his ways and work on fixing the problems. Many young players would have bolted and I give Harrison a lot of credit for hanging tough. As one of the "haters" I am rooting for the young man.

This is terrific news, and hopefully was never really in doubt. If they couldn't get everything ironed out by August there's not much difference between that and October, and then the issues are lingering into next season. Need to have a clean break from last season and have everybody on board right from the get go this year, and it looks like they've done that. Having any member of the team miss a trip like this would not be a positive start to the year in terms of building momentum.

Hey Jack, Let's remember:

1) Harrison totally brought the suspension upon himself. He has exhibited a lack of self control, and the outbursts that followed by egregious and intolerable. Combine that with a pretty lousy performance on the court for a "premier" guard.

2) He has proven nothing so far, except a desire to stay on the roster and return to the good graces of the coaching staff. The proof of the character transformation is for Harrison to keep his mouth shut when he feels like exploding.

3) Nearly everyone here is rooting for him to come back, and be a positive contributor on this team. I know I am.

Harrison is my favorite player and the single most valuable player on the roster. I fully expect him to be a great team member and leader his next two seasons. He needed what he got and so did many other players that have needed "adjusting" at all levels throughout the history of sports. Let's let it rest on these sites and just assume the kid has matured until proven otherwise.

Great post!

Feel like the fact that Dlo will be surrounded by more talent this year will help him a lot on the court attitude wise as he won't feel he has to try to take over the game which is where he sometimes got in trouble with shot selection.

Easier buying into him maturing then believing he'll become the player you envisioned. If I remember correct you saw greatness, and I really hope he proves you right.

I still see greatness. There are very few players in the country I would trade D'Angelo Harrison for.

+1

D'angelo will flourish with better talent and passers around him. I see him as much more of a closer than I do a carrier. Remember the first few weeks of the bigeast season? Huge shots late against nova, Cincy, and notre dame. Unfortunately he fizzled out but I envision him getting much more opportunities to close teams out this year with our improved talent and depth.

It's great to see Harrison with Jordan and also Harkless visiting both from the other side (NBA). Some players punch their ticket to the NBA and just go. Harkless comes back all the time and it's great to see. It definitely motivates the other guys as an example that they really can make it. Also notice the beard Harrison is growing out. By the way, could you imagine this team with Harkless added? Ok, enough dreaming!

Pretty sure Lav has a no facial hair policy so that will likely be gone by start of season.

not sure where the Under Armour is but Harkless and Harrison are def wearing Nike, and I believe Sheed has white tape over the Nike sign on his shirt.

First under armour sighting! cant wait for this season to get started and hope Harrison comes back strong.
